This multi-layered cross consists of 7 layers of laser-cut, 3 mm basswood plywood sheets. The layers are hand-stained with 3 different stains to bring out the intricasies of each layer. It is then assembled and glued by hand, one layer at a time. A protective clear coat is then applied.
