These multi-layered crosses consist of 6 or 7 layers of laser-cut, 3 mm basswood plywood sheets. The layers are hand-painted with 3 different hues to bring out the intricasies of each layer. The blue have 3 different shades of blue. The orange consists of orange, red and gold. The green has 3 different shades of green. Each cross is assembled and glued by hand, one layer at a time. A protective clear coat is then applied.
